Wines Direct is an Irish family owned & operated wine importers. The wines they supply to us represent a 25-year labour of love. They are uncompromising in their mission to source independently made wines directly from growers around the world. When we first sat down with Gareth to chat about wine 3 years ago, the passion he & his family have for their work was immediately obvious. Gareth & his team have worked hard with us to bring a great selection of great wines from small independent wineries.
What do Wines direct do for us?
They go out of their way to avoid the boring, mass-produced wines! They do so by walking the ground of the world’s famous and not so famous wine regions and by directly sourcing from dedicated and fiercely independent winemakers. Where the supermarket chains sponsor homogeneity and bulk production, Wines Direct believe their approach encourages diversity, independence & quality
